Edgewood Consulting Group is a sales and marketing strategy and analytics consultancy that works with consumer packaged goods manufacturers on pricing, promotion, assortment and shopper research. Our postal address is 1719 State Route 10, Suite 226, Parsippany, NJ 07054. When this policy says "we" or "us", it means Edgewood Consulting Group.

We contact people at companies whose jobs connect to the work we do, such as pricing, revenue management, category and sales leaders. We write to their work email address, and now and then we call a business phone number or send a letter to the business address. We only reach out when we believe our work could be relevant to that person's role, and we stop as soon as someone asks us to.

• Business contact details, where we have them: name, job title, employer, work email address, business phone number and a link to a professional profile.
• Facts about the employer, such as its industry, size, products and locations.
• Public business activity, for example job postings, news coverage and posts made publicly in a professional capacity.
• Results of checks that confirm a work address can receive mail before we write to it.
• Messages exchanged with you and the notes we keep of calls or meetings.
• Visits to this website. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our hosting provider keeps the standard technical logs any web server records, and the service that supplies the site's typeface receives your IP address when the page loads.

We do not seek or keep sensitive information such as health details, financial account numbers or government identifiers.

• Public sources: company websites, job boards, news outlets and professional networking profiles.
• Commercial providers of business contact and company data.
• You, when you reply to us, complete a form or talk with us.

• Deciding whether our services are likely to be relevant to a person and their company.
• Contacting that person at work about those services.
• Checking that an address is valid before a message goes to it.
• Answering replies and, where you ask, discussing or delivering our services.
• Maintaining our do-not-contact list.
• Keeping our systems secure and meeting our legal obligations.

We do not track whether our emails are opened.

Reply to any email from us and say so in whatever words you like, or tell the person who calls you. We act on the request promptly, and in every case within 10 business days. We then keep your name and address on a do-not-contact list, which is what prevents us from contacting you again even if your details later reach us from another source.

We never sell or rent personal information, and we never share it so other companies can market to you or show you advertising based on your activity elsewhere. We share it only with:

• Service providers working on our behalf, including email and mailbox services, address verification, business data providers, and hosting and storage. They may use it only to do that work for us.
• Government or legal authorities, when the law requires it or when disclosure is needed to protect rights and safety.
• A buyer of our business or a successor to it, which must honor this policy.

Prospect information stays with us while it remains useful, and we delete records that have gone out of date. Information about clients is kept for as long as the engagement and our legal and accounting duties require. Do-not-contact entries are kept for as long as we contact businesses, since deleting them would defeat their purpose.

Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it, and we apply reasonable safeguards to protect it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be exposed.

You can ask us what we hold about you and where we got it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you ask for deletion we remove everything except the do-not-contact entry, which we keep so that we do not contact you again. Depending on the state where you live, the law may give you further rights, such as the right to know, to correct, to delete and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share it in that sense. Using any of these rights will not change how we treat you.

Our website and services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under the age of 18.

We are based in the United States and contact businesses there. Our service providers may process information in the places where they operate.

When we change this policy, we revise the effective date shown at the top of the page.
